Version 1.1 Patch

This disk represents an update to the original Blood Bowl CD-ROM game. Due
to our rather tight deadline, there were a number of bugs discovered after
release which have been fixed in this patch. As well, modem play has now
been added. We apologize for any inconvenieces these bugs may have caused.
INSTALLING THE PATCH
====================
To install, place the disk containing the patch into a drive and then type
the letter of that drive, followed by a colon, followed by ENTER.
Then type PATCH followed by the drive and directory containing your original
Blood Bowl executable.
For instance, if you are installing the patch from drive A: and your original
Blood Bowl has been installed to C:\BLOOD, you would type the following:
A: [ENTER]
PATCH C:\BLOOD [ENTER]
These same steps may be applied if installing from your hard drive (i.e If
this patch has been downloaded from a BBS). For example assume the Blood
Bowl patch files are located on your hard drive in a directory named
C:\DOWNLOAD, now type the following:
CD\DOWNLOAD [ENTER]
PATCH C:\BLOOD [ENTER]
You may then run Blood Bowl as you normally would.
NOTE: This patch program creates a temporary file of approximately 3 megs
of disk space. This file is erased when the patch is completed.

ANSWERS TO COMMON BLOOD BOWL QUESTIONS
======================================
1. Q: How come my orcs can go an extra space when they haven't got the
SPRINT skill?
A: This will only happen when playing on their home field, ice. All
field types give advantages or disadvantages to players depending
on their home field type. When a team whose home field is ice
plays a game on ice, they are given an extra free movement after
their regular movement due to a "slip skill". Remember, you can
toggle Surface Influences to off via the Options screen if you like.
2. Q: What are the green blocks on the side of the helmets for?
These are the number of re-rolls which your team can currently
afford. To use a re-roll, simply click on the four-leaf clover
(luck) icon before doing an action. If the result of the action
is of negative consequence for your team, a re-roll will automatically
be made (and 55000 gold pieces will be deducted from your funds).
3. Q: How do I make the product work with my Gravis sound card?
The use of a Gravis sound card with Blood Bowl requires the presence
of the Gravis driver ULTRAMID.EXE. This should be in your \ULTRASND
directory. Simply run ULTRAMID before running the Blood Bowl setup
program and before you play a game. You can also simply put ULTRAMID
in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file so that it is conveniently run each time
you turn on your computer.
4. Q: What command line arguments are supported with Blood Bowl?
A: - BB /t - run Blood Bowl without the title sequence.
BB /m - disable the mouse
BB /3 - Causes the CD-ROM version to behave like the 3.5
version. This is for playing over the modem with
different type media.
